TAG Heuer Aquaracer – inspired by the underwater world
Although the name TAG Heuer is more often associated with racing chronographs of the highest caliber, the Swiss manufacture has also been involved in improving the water-resistance of watches since its early days. In 1892, Edouard Heuer patented the first water-resistant pocket watch case. And today, the TAG Heuer Aquaracer line, launched in 2003, continues this legacy. This line, with its decidedly sporty and technical appeal, is characterized by its robust and functional features and is available in a wide range of models for men and women.
TAG Heuer sets standards for safety in water sports
The epitome of the brand's water sports-inspired sports watch, each TAG Heuer Aquaracer is equipped with six technical features: Water resistance to 30 or 50 bar, which corresponds to the pressure at 300 or 500 meters, a unidirectional rotating bezel for setting the dive time, luminous markers on the hands and indices making the watch readable in all conditions, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a screw-down crown and a double stainless steel safety clasp. The TAG Heuer Aquaracer line also features innovative materials such as ceramic which is used for the bezel. The ladies' and men's watches are available with automatic movements and quartz calibers.
