Tudor 1926: The classic watch for men and women
Tudor proved that it is good at surprises when it unveiled the Tudor 1926, a new collection of elegant mechanical watches in 2018. The 1926 harks back to the early era of the wristwatch and the era when Hans Wilsdorf first registered the Tudor brand. As such, this line demonstrates Swiss savoir-faire at its best. And, Tudor would not be Tudor if the line did not set standards in elegance and design too.
Classic elegance in four sizes
The shine of gold combines with the resilience of stainless steel in these luxury bicolor watches and the 1926 models are a prime example of Tudor's sophisticated combination of these two precious metals. The 1926 watches all come with a stainless steel case, which is water-resistant to 100 meters and available in four sizes – 28, 36, 39 and 41 millimeters – and each will captivate you with their exquisite accents of rose gold. Attention to detail is also reflected in the dials with their filigree embossed design. Recognizable at a glance, the Arabic numerals for the even numbers and the arrow-shaped hour indices for the odd numbers stand out in typical Tudor style. The latter can even be set with diamonds on request. The elegant look is completed by the robust Tudor metal bracelet, which consists of seven elements of different sizes and nestles comfortably around the wrist. The surface on the outer elements is satin-finished, while the surfaces on the central elements are polished, creating an exciting contrast. Utmost precision is ensured by a self-winding mechanical movement – caliber 2671.
