Tudor Ranger – a tool watch for adventurers
The new collection from Tudor treads the paths of the Oyster Prince, which was Tudor’s first expedition watch. In 1952, this robust and practical timepiece accompanied the 30 members of the British North Greenland Expedition. The new Tudor Ranger pays tribute to this daring adventure and marks the expedition’s 70th anniversary with its initial launch in 2022. The tool watch retains the established aesthetical standards, such as the dial with Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o’clock and the hour markers painted in luminescent material. However, it combines the historically inspired look with state-of-the-art technology. Behind the grained, matt black dial, there is manufacture caliber MT5402, which distinguishes itself by its sturdiness, durability, reliability, and precision. To echo its functional heritage, the case presents itself in satin-finished stainless steel.
Tudor Ranger – the right type of material for every wrist
Tudor doesn’t only celebrate the 70th anniversary of the North Greenland Expedition with the Ranger, but also honors once again the excellent quality and the unique wearing comfort of the textile straps made by the Julien Faure company in the Saint-Etienne region of France: Besides a model with an entirely satin-finished stainless-steel strap, which will probably meet the taste of the lovers of the historic Oyster Prince wristwatch, and a natural rubber strap with beige stitching, Tudor offers the Ranger also with a woven textile strap from the traditional French manufacturer.
