The first special watch for aviators and the first Portugieser were launched in the 1940s and are considered legendary. With the Aquatimer collection launched in 2014, IWC outdid itself once again. The innovative external/internal rotating bezel, the mechanical depth gauge, and new complications such as the digital perpetual calendar impressively demonstrate the Schaffhausen engineers' zest for technology.
