The Urwerk Space-Time Blade Black is more than a timepiece: It is a space-filling light sculpture. In a cylinder made of borosilicate glass measuring over 1.30 meters in height, red-glowing Nixie tubes visualize not only the time, but also the date and the Earth's rotation. A black anodized case gives the object a floating appearance and reinforces its minimalist and futuristic look. The specially developed electronics control the complex light architecture, which was conceived in collaboration with tube artist Dalibor Farny. This time object is not only meant to measure time, but to make it a physical and emotional experience. Limited to 33 pieces worldwide, each Space-Time Blade Black represents this consistently thought-out vision.
