Panerai Luminor Due – a new chapter begins
The Panerai Luminor Due opens a new chapter in the success story of the legendary Panerai Luminor. While remaining faithful to the style-defining characteristics of the watch legend that was originally developed in the 1940s for the Italian Royal Navy, it offers a subtle reinterpretation of some of the features. The striking proportions of the case on the original watch have been reduced by 40 percent, to give the Panerai Luminor Due a finer elegance. Along with the classic steel cases, there are now models with cases made of delicate 18k rose gold or titanium. The slightly angular cushion shape of the case and the legendary crown protection bridge on the side have remained the same. The dials and numerals, together with the bracelets, also come in a range of courageous colors.
Panerai Luminor Due – mechanics that go above and beyong
Like every watch produced by Panerai, the Panerai Luminor Due is not just beautiful on the outside and is just as beautiful inside thanks to its impressive technical features. Since its refoundation, the brand has demonstrated its manufacturing expertise by presenting movements developed and manufactured in-house. Their special features include a long power reserve ranging from 72 hours to eight days, and a mechanism for stopping the balance wheel, which means you can set the watch precisely. These mechanical masterpieces are revealed in all their glory through the sapphire crystal case-back inside a case that is water-resistant to at least ten bars.
