Norqain is a young, completely independent Swiss watch brand owned by the Küffer family. Based in Nidau, Bern, near the famous Swiss watch town of Biel, Norqain is committed to the traditional Swiss values of quality, precision, and aesthetics, while also offering contemporary interpretations of old traditions. This newcomer in the world of luxury watches specializes exclusively in mechanical watches with self-winding movements, which are manufactured on-site by experienced watchmakers. The target group is young and young-at-heart mechanical enthusiasts who value sustainable manufacturing, along with fresh, contemporary design and sporty, functional design. The Passion for Watches Runs in the Family

In March 2018, Ben Küffer fulfilled his life's dream. In Nidau, in the Bernese Jura, he managed to launch a new watch brand called Norqain. The young Swiss man was practically born with a love of watchmaking. For forty years now, the Küffers have been manufacturing timepieces complete with the “Swiss Made” label right at the heart of Switzerland's watchmaking tradition. As a true Swiss brand, this family business is based on traditional Swiss values such as the uncompromising demand for quality, reliability, and a trusting relationship with both customers and partners. The team around Norqain consists exclusively of watch experts with many years of experience in the industry and a high passion for the profession. This passion runs through all areas of the company.

Norqain celebrates the fact that the purchase of a watch often marks a special occasion by adding their so-called “Norqain Plate”, a small plaque on the left side of the case which can be used for personal engravings that capture life's special moments. Mark Streit's Norqain Freedom 60 Auto, for example, has his children's birth dates engraved on it.

Swiss-Made Quality Down to the Smallest Detail

Although the Norqain brand has been on the market for less than two years, it already has a remarkable collection of ladies' and men's watches. The names of the three lines—Adventure, Freedom, and Independence—fit well with the brand's unconventional image. All three lines include mechanical three-hand watches and chronographs with automatic winding. The movements, which are assembled at Norqain by masters of their trade, are based on ETA calibers, and their high-quality decorations can be seen through the sapphire crystal on the back. Other quality features include the use of 316L stainless steel, a water-resistance of 100 meters, and sapphire crystals with anti-reflective and scratch-resistant coating on both sides. Each individual line has its own unmistakable personality.
