A. Lange & Söhne's most icononic model, the Grand Lange 1 Ref. 137.038, has been subtly redesigned and is now available in a gray and white gold color combination. The 18k white gold case has a diameter of 41 millimeters and is only 8.2 millimeters thick, making it comfortable to wear on the wrist. The characteristic off-center displays on the gray dial made of solid silver are the eye-catching feature of the collection. The delicate hands and Roman numerals are also made of white gold and, together with the case, create a very elegant appearance. In addition to the time, the Grand Lange 1 also features a small seconds subdial with a stop-seconds function, as well as a power-reserve indicator and the typical Lange outsize date display. A sapphire crystal case back exposes the hand-wound movement and its escapement, which regulates the rate and features a balance spring manufactured in-house. The Lange L095.1 manufacture calibre used in this watch has a power reserve of 72 hours when fully wound. This exquisite timepiece is fitted on a black leather strap with an 18k white gold pin clasp.
