The first special watch for aviators and the first Portugieser were launched in the 1940s and are considered legendary. Further novelties followed at regular intervals, giving the IWC Schaffhausen company, which enjoys an excellent reputation worldwide, a remarkable portfolio of six lines in total.

With the Aquatimer collection launched in 2014, IWC outdid itself once again. The innovative external/internal rotating bezel, the mechanical depth gauge, and new complications such as the digital perpetual calendar impressively demonstrate the Schaffhausen engineers' zest for technology.
