With the Ref. 5905R-010, Patek Philippe presents a combination of two popular complications: the self-winding flyback chronograph and the patented annual calendar. The former is accounted for by the typical pushers on the caseband, a central chronograph hand, and a 60-minute counter. The annual calendar displays the day, date, and month through apertures arranged on a circular arc and only needs to be corrected once a year, at the change from February to March. Visually, the timepiece gets its elegance from an 18k rose gold case with a concave bezel and hollowed flanks. The gold, which is also found in the baton hour markers, harmonizes perfectly with the blue sunburst dial and the slightly shiny alligator-skin strap of the same color.
