Let’s climb the summits! Featuring a sturdy titanium case, the 42-millimeter 1858 Geosphere 0 Oxygen South Pole Exploration LE 1990 Chronograph (Ref. 130961) is a strong and uncompromising companion. Its self-winding manufacture caliber MB 29.25 requires no oxygen at all and, in addition to the date, reliably displays a small seconds subdial as well as the world time on its rotating northern and southern hemispheres. Visually, the design is also convincing all along the line: Thanks to the gratté boisé technique, the blue dial looks as if it has been frozen over with a layer of ice. The bidirectional blue aluminum bezel also indicates the cardinal directions for good orientation in the open country. Further highlights are the elaborately engraved caseback, a power reserve of up to 42 hours, and a limitation to 1990 watches worldwide. The bracelet, made entirely of titanium, can be easily exchanged for an additionally supplied gray textile strap.
