Pilot's watch legends such as the Mark 11 from 1948 are not only milestones in the company's history, but have had a lasting influence on the appearance of classic pilot's watches. With the IWC Schaffhausen Pilot’s Watch Automatic Mark XX (Ref. IW328205), the Swiss manufacture offers an attractive entry-level model that represents the classic pilot's watch in its most beautiful form and is technically excellently equipped with the self-winding manufacture caliber 32111. Not a line too many, everything has been designed for clarity and ease of use. The Arabic numerals are large and round in their place on the dark green dial with two exceptions: The typical pilot's triangle with lateral dots for orientation is positioned on the number twelve, and the date appears at three o'clock. The 40-millimeter stainless-steel case, which is water-resistant up to 100 meters, features a detailed engraving on the back. The historically influenced design is completed by a color-coordinated calfskin brown strap, which is equipped with a quick-change system.
