The Senator Chronometer (Ref. 1-58-08-01-04-61) from Glashütte Original is a tribute to seafaring and its high-precision marine chronometers. Visually inspired by these historic timepieces, the color combination of white gold, gray and blue is also reminiscent of the roaring sea. Functionally, the model's hand-wound manufacture caliber 58-08 features a date display and another special characteristic: After a 15-day test carried out by the Thuringian Office of Weights and Measures in five positions and at three temperatures, the watch also officially bears the title of "certified chronometer."
