Certified chronometer with Geneva Seal – the Chopard Alpine Eagle Flying Tourbillon Ref. 298616-3001 is one of the few watches to be awarded with this double certification. The timepiece is driven by caliber L.U.C 96.24-L, which has been developed in-house by the Swiss manufacture. It is only 3.30 millimeters high, has a power reserve of approx. 65 hours, and its precision is confirmed by a COSC chronometer certificate. The high-quality ornamentation is displayed under the sapphire crystal back of the 41-millimeter case, which is water-resistant to 10 bar and made of Lucent steel A223. This new alloy is hypoallergenic, harder than conventional steel and has a particularly intense shine. The blue galvanized dial is decorated with a ray pattern inspired by the iris of an eagle. The flying tourbillon is beautifully positioned between 4 and 7 o’clock.
