On the Saxonia Moon Phase, the outsize date is aligned on the same axis as the moon-phase display, which runs accurately for 122.6 years. The moon-phase disc is adorned with 852 stars and is in constant motion. Winding is provided by a central rotor visible through the sapphire crystal case back, featuring a centrifugal mass made of rose gold. The power reserve is 72 hours.
