It consists of a disk with 59 teeth that the movement makes rotate around its axis once within two moon phases. A masterpiece of horology where the day, month, and date are also elegantly integrated into the dial.
There is something fascinating about a moon phase watch. The disc completes a full rotation in 59 days. Two full moons face each other on it. While the waning moon disappears on the right, the waxing moon rises again on the left.
