A watch like an iceberg. In releasing the Executive Blast Blue, Swiss watch brand Ulysse Nardin has proved once again that its timepieces are as if made for daring adventurers and extreme athletes. The Blue Blast model, reference T-1723-400/03, features colors reminiscent of a frozen lake, with cool blue and cold gray punctuated with the case’s transparent sapphire crystal. As previously seen with the Freak, Skeleton, and Diver collections, the skeleton dial makes a feature out of a dynamic “X” shape and, in doing so, skillfully combines contrasting circular and rectangular shapes into a mix that radiates energy. The 45-millimeter case is made of titanium and is water-resistant to 50 meters. It houses the new UN-172 manufacture caliber with a tourbillon and power reserve of 72 hours.
