Patek Philippe launched the ladies' version of the Aquanaut Luce Automatic for the first time in rose gold in 2010. With the further development of the Aquanaut Luce Chronograph "Rainbow" Ref. 7968/300R-001, the Swiss watch manufacturer now presents the first self-winding ladies' chronograph with flyback mechanism. The popular feminine-sporty look is retained, as is the characteristic rounded octagonal bezel of the three-hand watch. As a novelty, the bezel is set with 40 flawless baguette-cut diamonds of 2.05 ct and impressively framed by a second bezel studded with 40 sapphires of 2.31 ct in the colors of the rainbow, also in baguette cut. The 39.9-millimeter rose gold case masterfully sets off the white mother-of-pearl dial's with the signature Aquanaut pattern. In addition to the applied Arabic numerals and luminous hands in rose gold, another 12 multicolored sapphires shine as hour markers. Inside the case, there is the self-winding mechanical manufacture caliber CH 28 520 C. The exceptional timepiece is delivered with three bracelets made of robust composite material: one in dynamic signal red, one in elegant white and one in discreet beige.
