The movement in this regulator, the smallest one from the manufacturer, has a shape that precisely replicates the lovingly crafted clockworks of the early nineteenth century. The quality characteristics of this era – such as hardened steel components and hard brass for the base plates, pallet bridge and minute wheel cocks milled from solid material, and cylindrical steel pins for the pillars – are used now in exactly the same way as they were in vintage movements. The wonderful, artfully manufactured enamel dials with intricately crafted, blued steel hands and solid brass bezel lend this gentle clock its unique allure.
