The name Qlocktwo stands for wall and table clocks that have reinvented the display of time. The idea that drives the two artists and founders Marco Biegert and Andreas Funk is as unconventional as it is natural: The Qlocktwo tells you how late it is just in the same way as humans do. Instead of using numerals and hands or digital displays it shows the current time written out in words. What becomes a truly impressive dance of the time in seconds mode meets the desire for deceleration when the time is displayed in five-minute intervals. Four discreet, illuminated dots in the corners of the square surface nevertheless guarantee that the time is displayed to the minute. The concept of Qlocktwo is truly fascinating. In addition to the great success that the brand has enjoyed since 2009, the recognition of the objects as a national treasure and the more than 30 international design awards and prizes that the still young company has won are testimony to this.

Handcrafted in Schwäbisch Gmünd, these masterpieces are timeless art objects and clocks at the same time and inspire with their strong design codes. The Large, Classic andTouch model variants have in common a square surface featuring an iconic matrix of 110 seemingly randomly arranged letters. An LED panel light that is hidden behind it animates the poetic dance of time. What makes  many variants of the Qlocktwo unique is their individual surface finish. Front covers made of natural rock fascinate with their originality and a unique million-year-old relief. An engraved signature of Biegert and Funk as well as an unobtrusive numbering attests to the exclusive status of these one-of-a-kind pieces.
