On the Saxonia Moon Phase, the outsize date is positioned on the same axis as the moon-phase display, which runs accurately for 122.6 years. The moon-phase disc is adorned with 852 stars and is in constant motion. Winding is provided by a central rotor, visible through the sapphire crystal case back, with a platinum centrifugal mass. The power reserve is 72 hours.
