The Tank Américaine, designed in 1987 and launched in 1989, is a successor to the Tank Cintrée of 1921, which with its exceptionally domed case was entirely Art Deco. Typical of the Tank is that this curvature is taken up by the Roman numerals and the railway minute scale, which gracefully stretch out and masterfully reflect the flowing design. This tribute to the early Tanks is expressive in the format Medium Model in stainless steel with the striking dimensions of 41.60 x 22.60 x 9.5 mm. TheTank Américaine Medium Model is powered by a self-winding movement and fitted on a shiny navy blue alligator-skin strap.
