SIHH 2019 - discover the novelties from Girard Perregaux
Fitted with a tourbillon, world time display, and celestial map, this timepiece stands symbolically for the dialogue between earth and heaven. A celestial map at 9 o’clock offers a spatial dimension to the cosmos within the limited space of a wristwatch. Represented on a blue-tinted titanium ball, it rotates once every 23 hours, 58 minutes, and four seconds, which is the exact duration of an average sidereal day. The celestial map depicts the best known, visible constellations, i.e. the signs of the zodiac.
Laureato Absolute Chronograph
The Laureato Absolute already makes a statement with its name: Housed in a black coated titanium case with a diameter of 44 millimeters it has nevertheless a low weight and is water-resistant to 300 meters. The new, fully integrated, natural rubber strap rounds off the urban appearance.
Laureato Perpetual Calendar
Girard Perregaux offers a Perpetual Calendar in a 42-millimeter stainless steel case. The blue dial is decorated with a »Clous de Paris« pattern against which the white displays stand out clearly. Their distinctive asymmetric arrangement lends the Laureato Perpetual Calendar a strong presence. Its metal bracelet is composed of alternating polished and satin-finished elements.
