This manufacture has been making finely crafted timepieces in the tiny village of La Côte-aux-Fées in the Jura Mountains since 1874. Founded by Georges Édouard Piaget on his parents’ farm, it soon became well-known for its high-precision movements. In the 1950s it focused on developing ultra-thin calibers, which have since then become its trademark. These movements are the ideal basis of the elegant Piaget timepieces, which have been trendsetters of international style for decades thanks to their expressive design in combination with the manufacture’s haute joaillerie expertise. Today the Piaget headquarters are in Geneva, but the movements are still produced in the picturesque village of La Côte-aux-Fées.
