Watch dreams come true in the new Wempe Rolex Boutique

Since May 30, 2017, General Manager Alexander Binder has been welcoming his customers to the now third Wempe Rolex Boutique in the Dorotheen Quartier shopping complex in Stuttgart.

Luxury doesn’t get more contemporary than this: Stuttgart’s exclusive Dorotheen Quartier, with its modern-elegant architecture, offers the perfect setting for a new successful chapter of cooperation between Rolex and Wempe.

The interior of the Boutique is bright and tastefully decorated, with beige leather complemented by rich bronze tones and American walnut. The display cases embedded in light stone walls make a very special impression: They are made from specially manufactured, wave-like aquatic glass and seem to float in the air. This is where you’ll find the latest Rolex watch models presented in weightless elegance. A visit to the Boutique also makes it clear that the joint-venture concept developed by these two companies steeped in tradition has succeeded in an extremely impressive manner in Stuttgart as well.

Creating glamorous synergies

It’s not just glamour that Wempe and Rolex have in common, as the two companies have also been on the same wavelength for quite some time with regard to internal values: They understand each other so well because they are so similar. “More than one hundred years of company history such as that enjoyed by the Hamburg family business Wempe and the watchmaker Rolex stand not only for a long tradition but also for experience and competence,” says Peter Streit, Managing Director of Rolex Germany.

Kim-Eva Wempe, the owner of Gerhard D. Wempe KG, believes in creating synergies: “Back in the early 1950s, my father, Hellmut Wempe, became the first jeweler in Germany to buy Rolex watches. Because of this long and close partnership and our special mutual appreciation, we are very pleased to operate and manage the exclusive Wempe Rolex Boutique in Stuttgart.”

Experience at the highest level

The new Boutique in Stuttgart benefits from the extensive expertise of its staff. Led by Wempe General Manager Alexander Binder, a team of four sales specialists provides expert advice to customers in the 60 square-meter shop with ceilings more than five meters high. Two sales counters and an extra-long watch display counter ensure that everyone can find their own special dream watch in the Boutique.
