The time-honored watchmaker A. Lange & Söhne produces mechanical watches that bear the distinctive features of fine watchmaking from Glashütte.

Setting standards with timepieces: That was the vision of the master watchmaker Ferdinand Adolph Lange, and it still characterizes every creation of this company down to the present day. Exclusive products are perpetuating a culture of precision engineering that is passed down from one generation to the next. After the reestablishment of the manufacture, in 1994 A. Lange & Söhne was once again able to fulfill the wishes of all those who appreciate precision wristwatches and superlative watchmaking expertise. The cooperation between Wempe and A. Lange & Söhne dates back to the era of Herbert Wempe and Otto Lange, the great-grandson of the company’s founder. One of their first joint projects was the founding of the Glashütte Observatory working group in the 1930s.
