A watch like a volcano. In releasing the Executive Blast Black, Swiss watch brand Ulysse Nardin has proved once again that its timepieces are as if made for daring adventurers and extreme athletes. The Black Blast model, reference T-1723-400/BLACK, captures the warmth of red-hot magma in solid, black lava and, in doing so, skillfully combines contrasting circular and rectangular shapes into a mix that radiates energy. As previously seen with the Freak, Skeleton, and Diver collections, the skeleton dial makes a feature out of a dynamic “X” shape. The 45-millimeter ceramic case is water-resistant to 50 meters. It houses the new UN-172 manufacture caliber with a tourbillon and power reserve of 72 hours. The spectacular shapes, strong colors, and fascinating technology together offer a breathtaking explosion for the wrist.
