Telling the time gets a completely new meaning with the square-shaped Qlocktwo Rust Large (Ref. LG4DERT) from the two artists Marco Biegert and Andreas Funk. The centerpiece of this multi-award winning wall clock is a matrix featuring 110 seemingly randomly arranged letters that typographically display time by means of an LED panel light positioned behind it. Four additional illuminated points in the corners represent the minutes and complete the time display. This model variant measures striking 90 x 90 centimeters at a depth of only 32 millimeters and fascinates with a raw steel surface that is refined by hand in an elaborate patination process. The sometimes calm, sometimes lively reddish-brown surface produced in this way makes each piece unique and a stylish art object, whose sophisticated, exceptional and modern design decorates every room in all ambient light conditions thanks to an integrated light sensor.
