The patented annual calendar, first launched by Patek Philippe in 1996, requires a manual correction only once per year when the date changes to March 1. On any other day of the year, the self-winding 324 S IRM QA LU caliber uses hands to ensure the accurate display of the day of the week, month, and date. It ticks within an 18k white gold case measuring 39.0 x 11.18 millimeters. The mechanical highlights of this model, reference 5147G-001, furthermore include moon-phase and power-reserve displays. The dial, with a navy-blue lacquer, presents the mechanical ensemble within a bezel set with 62 diamonds.
