Nomos Glashütte Metro – designed for the city
With its refreshingly different design, the Nomos Glashütte Metro watch line is aimed at city dwellers who appreciate style. It was designed by the well-known Berlin designer Mark Braun and has already received several awards for its superior design.
In 2014, Nomos Glashütte Metro date power reserve, equipped with the DUW 4401 manually wound movement, was the first watch in the line. It introduced an entirely new design that reinterpreted the style of precision measuring instruments and added an urban touch. The tips of the needle-fine hands are reminiscent of the Empire State Building in New York.
Like all of the company's watches, the Nomos Glashütte Metro has a flat case, although the lugs are striking in design. The crown dances out of line with a fine knurled pattern and the slightly domed sapphire crystal shows off the expressive typography and clear structure.
