More than 100 years ago Gerhard D. Wempe opened his first shop in Hamburg. Today, his name is known throughout the world as a synonym for the fine timepieces and jewellery. A handsome reason for us to surprise you this year: not only with exciting jewellery creations, but also with photographic impressions of our Hanseatic hometown. Enjoy the inspiration created by impressions of this marvellous city - and by a collection that transforms every place on earth into a special one. 

In the course of our business's history, we have repeatedly had the good fortune to hold some of the world's finest wristwatches in our hands. The fascination evoked by these watches, combined with the wishes of our customers, motivated us to begin developing and manufacturing our own superb wristwatches. After an intensive phase of planning and model development, we accepted the challenge of producing a series of our own high-quality wristwatch chronometers. Now we proudly announce that two exclusive collections have been created in our workshop at the observatory in Glashütte.

Ever since the founding of the Wempe Chronometerwerke in 1905, our watchmakers have dedicated themselves to precision and have devoted themselves to the manufacture of mechanical ship’s chronometers and precision timepieces.
