



Monaco. A famous racecourse that evokes powerful emotions. To honour this uncommonly grueling Grand Prix, TAG Heuer launched a strikingly designed chronograph in 1969. The quadratic, water-resistant case – unprecedented in the history of the watchmaker’s art – contained the Chronomatic movement, i.e. the first self-winding chronograph movement with a microrotor.
