Luminor

The naval world likewise served as the source of inspiration for this model. The Prime Meridian in Greenwich plays an important role for navigation on the high seas: Greenwich Mean Time or GMT is the point of reference for calculating longitude and thus determining a ship’s momentary position. Nowadays, the Luminor’s GMT function on the watch’s dial enables the wearer to simultaneously read the local time and the time in a second zone.

Illustrated model:
Stainless steel. Self-winding movement with 3 days of power reserve. Calibre P. 9000.
